The Last Step

Beta Version Valluga Launched in September

In the past months, we have been working hard on our new application. ‘We are now in the final developing phase of Valluga 1.0,’ says Bart Bijkerk (CTO/COO and Product Owner Valluga). ‘In September, this beta version will be thoroughly internally tested. Soon after, several selected clients start using Valluga 1.0. Their feedback helps us further fine-tune the application. We expect to present our new software system to all clients at the end of October.’

‘During the development of Valluga, we kept focusing on the user-friendliness for clients and candidates. With them in mind, we have created an application that is both intuitive and easy to use.’

This summer Valluga is tested on several levels

‘Before we get there, several important tests are scheduled this summer. First, an independent party will run a technical test. At the same time, Validata keeps testing the application’s functionalities. We will also ask a number of ethical hackers to analyse our security as well as run our vulnerability scanners. Based on the findings, we make Valluga as secure as possible so our clients can be certain they continuously comply with the current (privacy) laws and regulations.’

New application is intuitive and easy to use

‘Apart from several recognisable elements, the new software system will have an entirely new look & feel,’ Bart explains. ‘During the development of Valluga, we kept focusing on the user-friendliness for clients and candidates. With them in mind, we have created an application that is both intuitive and easy to use. Not in the least because of the mobile first theory [link to previous blog]. This means candidates can complete their screening using their mobile device. The fact that they can start when it suits them best, increases their freedom and reduces the turnaround time. A win-win situation for all parties concerned.’

Improved architecture and efficient adaptations

‘Many adaptations were made in Validata Support too. These are not immediately visible for clients and candidates because they are placed at ‘the back’ of the system. These efficient changes allow Validata to process the increasing amount of screenings in a minimum amount of time. Next to that, sharing personal data with professional data suppliers has been optimised. All these separate elements enable a faster lead time, so a screening process takes less time and you will receive the results faster.’
